Along with firearm safety, our students are trained in personal safety strategies to use at home and away. Our courses teach students to maintain situational awareness and have a mental toolkit of options ready in case the unexpected happens. What if I hear banging on the door in the middle of the night? What if the people standing by my parked car are planning a purse snatching? What if weather turns bad during our hike? Safety is the first priority for i-e-c.
Whether the goal is learning to how to avoid a developing situation, or learning to stop a physical threat, our instructors work to ensure students have the coaching needed to develop competency in their skills. A single course may not make you an expert, but by practicing and reviewing the skills taught in the courses, students can develop the confidence and competence protect themselves and their loved ones.
As the saying goes, “when seconds count, help is only minutes away.” No matter how quickly a 911 call generates help, it may not be fast enough to save life and limb during an attack or other emergency. The goal of I-E-C is to help students develop the awareness, strategies, skills and competence to protect themselves and their loved ones from danger. Our goal is to help you survive until help arrives.
